Hello everyone, Created an account just so I could post this thread. However, I am a big fan of Mupen64 AE+ and appreciate all the effort and work that has been put into it, works great on my NVIDIA Shield Portable. That said, I was hoping someone could potentially guide me through the process of adding a cheat to Super Mario 64 Star Road (Awesome mario 64 rom hack for those who have not heard of it). The game is intended to be played with a camera gameshark cheat otherwise it is pretty much impossible to coordinate the camera angles of the game. Here is the cheat: 8033C685 0005 8033C849 0002 D033AFA1 0010 8033C849 0000 D033AFA1 0008 8033C848 0030 Is there any way to add this into the game?

I searched several forum threads, but there does not seem to be a clear answer on adding GS cheats from what I could find. It seems like an alpha 3.0 build that is currently in the works is going to have a GUI front-end for adding custom GS cheats? In any event, can someone please help add this code if there is a way? Cheats: The front-end cheat system support seems flawless, the ability to add your own cheats, enter notes, and custom titles made Star Road possible to play for me. Controller Profiles: Was a huge fan of this! Now when I do multiplayer n64 games from my shield, configuring and setting up controllers is a breeze!

I wish all emulators had this built in. Speed and Performance: The not so good part, after experimenting with several different video plugins and running my shield at 100% CPU settings, I still experienced a lot of lags and slow-down playing super mario 64 star road. In addition to that there were audio performance issues (out of sync) and latency with inputting controls to output within the game. Overall I am very happy to see the direction Mupen64 + AE is going, however, there is definitely room for several improvements at this point that I would not mind seeing. Does anyone have any advice to boost performance more?
